Janie walked across the infield of the boy's baseball game to give me these "flowers". I love dandelions from the kids :)

Spring hiking

We have loved hiking in the foothills by our house when we have nice days. This spring has been very rainy but we try to get out when we can.

We got a teapot and Stryder has been fascinated with it. Here's hot water in a bowl with food coloring art- turned out pretty cool!

Dining out

Grandma took the kids & I to McDonalds. Getting Janie ready is getting more and more complex. Note her baby doll & stroller, lipgloss and a princess book. Too cute!

Ari turns 7

Ari had friends over for a party for his birthday. We played lots of party games and had a spiderman cake!

Little gymnasts

Stryder and Ari enjoyed their gymnastics class, and got medals at the end.


Isaac and Janie liked going to gymnastics too- they got to run around and play at the teen center.

Let the cat out of the bag

Once Isaac was playing with a stuffed animal kitty and said, "it's like Mist except it doesn't struggle!"

Sleeping in the kitchen

Janie brought her pillow and blanket into the kitchen with me and went to sleep on the floor.


Another day she made herself comfy on the kitchen chairs.

2011 - Janie's burn

On New Year's Janie fell & knocked a hot frying pan onto her face! She got this huge burn, which we kept medicine on & covered for a month.
